Information for Sunday Services
Sunday Mornings:We meet weekly on Sundays at 10:30am, with a creche , Kidz Church and and young peoples group meeting alongside the main service. The church is on Wakehurst Drive, Southgate, opposite the shops.
On the first Sunday of the month we do things differently! At 9am, there is a quiet spoken service of Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer, followed at 10:30 am by an all-age shorter Sunday service where everyone stays in together, called a First Sunday Celebration. The service usually lasts less than an hour, and celebrates one of our core values, which is about being a community as one together, of all ages and all backgrounds.
Sunday Evenings:On the first Sunday evening of each month we join with local churches of many denominations for the Town-wide service, which meets at Crawley Baptist Church at 7pm. This service usually has a blend of lively contemporary worship, and a good teaching slot. There are groups for children during the second half of the service.
On the third Sunday evening of each month at 6.30pm, there is an informal service at St Mary’s.
On the fourth Sunday evening of each month at 7.00pm, there is a prayer meeting at the Rectory.
Every 2 months on the 2nd Sunday evening of each month there is the KISS Youth Event, a service for teenagers run by teenagers, based at Holy Trinity Church in Tilgate at 7pm. Check out their facebook group for more details…
